PLANTS AND BALERS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AND BIOMASS
BIOMASS
Balers and plants for biomass processing and production of renewable energy
They bale wood chips, rice husks, bagasse, alfalfa, RDF and the organic fraction of MSW
Macpresse balers are particularly suitable for a sector that is becoming ever more important nowadays: biomass industry.
While in the agricultural sector harvesting takes place only in certain periods of the year, the need of biomass is rather constant. Hence, compaction becomes a key factor for material storage and transport.
Moreover, during the compaction process the residual water contained in the organic fraction of the MSW is expelled, thereby increasing the calorific value of the material. Our balers, thanks to their high compaction power, robustness and reliability make it possible to compact large quantities of material in a short time: rice husks, wood chips, sugar bagasse are just a few examples of biomass that can be baled with our balers.
Furthermore, biomass bales can be wrapped with plastic film in order to protect them from water and from all those factors that may affect the calorific value.
