BALERS AND PLANTS FOR LANDFILL REMEDIATION
The global development of environmental regulations – combined with population growth and increasing urbanization – have brought many countries to adopt measures for the remediation of existing landfills.
In South East Asia we have built modular plants that meet this requirement in a rapid, efficient and economical way: abandoned waste in landfills is processed by a disc screen which separates the bulky fraction from the soil. The screened waste is baled, wrapped and then transferred to a new landfill, while the soil is used for covering the new landfill. Thanks to baling and wrapping operations, landfills are now compliant with the regulations in force and all problems regarding leachate, break-downs and fires have been eliminated.
MAC L SERIES: ABLE TO BALE ALL TYPES OF WASTE
Macpresse L series has been specifically designed to treat all types of waste: not only recyclables such as paper, cardboard and plastic, but municipal solid waste with a high percentage of organic material as well. Specific actions adopted during cutting and tying operations allow the L series to better overcome the typical problems arising from baling unsorted waste: corrosion, jammed bulky material etc. For a difficult task such as the reclamation of a landfill it is necessary to use a L series baler, which can treat large amounts of materials difficult to process.
